Brevard Academy for Visual & Performing Arts

Registration is now open for ART LESSONS at Brevard Academy for Visual & Performing Arts. We are an art academy partnering with Brevard Academy for Individual Excellence in the afternoons in order to broaden and enrich students' education. These classes are open to all students in K-10th grade, not just students enrolled at the school.

Art Lessons

In our 6-week art classes, students will learn the fundamental aspects of art. We will explore texture, form, space, shape, color, value, and line through a variety of media. Demonstrations will help students learn techniques that will be used to create works of art in clay, paint, and drawing mediums. Students will also learn some history by using past as well as contemporary artists as inspiration for our projects.
